Client of the Month!

Congratulations Mary!! Mary has been a staple at Swoop for a couple years now and she is A..MAZE..ING… I’m going to be totally honest here, and say that sometimes she doesn’t make it in as often as she should…but when she does, she kills it! She is an organizer, an inspiration, an amazing friend to me and everyone here at Swoop and I couldn’t be happier that she is part of this family we have here at Swoop!! (insert heart emoji here).

How did you first hear about Swoop?

It has been so long, I think I saw a Facebook Ad, then a friend of mine came and told me about it.

Do you have a favorite exercise? What do you like about it?

I like the Bungee the most. But I do enjoy Tabata and Barre as well. I like Bungee because I feel like I'm not really exercising. I really like that I can feel how much stronger I am since starting Bungee. Some of the things we do, I wasn't able to do at first, but now I am stronger and I can do the moves or more push ups. When we first did Frogs, I couldn't figure it out. Now it is one of my favorite moves. I even did a Cartwheel in the Bungee!

What achievements are you most proud of?

Sticking with exercising. I look forward to coming to Swoop, I miss it when I can't make it for a few days

What do you like most about Swoop?

Jerelynn. She is always encouraging and pushing us to do one more. She asks what our goals are and works hard to keep us accountable. Again, I don't feel like I'm "working out" She changes the routines so you don't get stuck in a rut. We are working muscles I didn't even know I had!

What advice would you give to someone on the fence about joining Swoop?

Just like anything new, come more than once. Purchase a package and stick it out. Make the commitment for one month. The Bungee can seem intimidating, which is what I felt as well, but it really isn't. It takes a few classes to settle in and find your groove with it. You won't regret it.

What are some challenges or goals you are currently working on?

I am trying to come more often. I would like to continue to get stronger. I don't worry about what the scale says, I just want energy and my mind clear. I'm trying to put myself first on the list so I can be at my best. Coming to Swoop is a great workout and great friendships. We may not see each other out of the studio, but we are always thinking about each other. Everyone there encourages everyone. Not just in workouts, but in everyday life.

Thank you Mary for being a Swooper! YOU ARE AWESOME!!
